Dr. Roland Wilson opened in 1987, and we have enjoyed caring for patients in the same location for over 30 years. We are a small family practice in the heart of downtown Mount Horeb, the “Troll Capital of the World.”
Come visit our office and stay to see our famous “Trollway” featuring life-size troll statues that line the main street of our beautiful village. Don’t worry, trolls might seem a little scary at first, but in Norwegian lore, they are protectors of gemstones and quite friendly!
Just a short drive from Madison, WI
Our address is 215 East Main Street in Mount Horeb, WI.

Roland Wilson, DDS
In private practice since 1987, Dr. Roland Wilson has been building lasting relationships with his patients. He takes time to get to know them on a personal level, and learn about their overall health and well-being, not just their dental health. He treats his patients the way he would want to be treated.
Dr. Wilson’s interest in dentistry began at age 14 when he started working in his family’s dental lab. He attributes much of his success to his family for their guidance and for instilling the importance of delivering quality work. He is proud to continue the tradition of providing quality dental care, sharing his knowledge and his passion so his patients may achieve the gift of a healthy and beautiful smile.
Dr. Wilson studied chemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University Of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1987. Post graduate education and membership in organizations include the American Dental Association, the Wisconsin Dental Association, the Greater Dane Dental Society, Louisiana State University of Dentistry certification in Cosmetic Dentistry, the SPEARS Education Campus in Scottsdale Arizona and the Los Angeles Institute of Clinical Dentistry. Dr. Wilson enjoys taking annual continuing education and training courses so he can continue to update his skills to bring his patients the best care available.
He has volunteered with dental outreach programs including Give Kids a Smile, Donated Dental Services and Mission of Mercy.
In his free time, Dr. Wilson enjoys spending time with his family, observing wildlife in the great outdoors, fishing, hiking, golfing, skiing, photography, cooking and traveling. A favorite winter time activity is snow tubing at Cascade Mountain (It’s Exhilarating!!! You’ve got to try it).
